I am a mother to a wonderfully wild  11-year-old boy, and just like many families, we’ve walked the path of raising a child with a beautifully busy brain and a busy body. Becoming a parent reshaped everything for me. My son became my greatest teacher and the reason I began healing, growing, and redefining what learning and emotional support could look like for children and their caregivers.

Professionally, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an EMDR clinician, and an IFS-informed practitioner. I hold a B.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from National University. I’m also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with specialized training in trauma-informed, nervous-system-supportive practices.

From an early age, I knew my path would center around helping. I spent years balancing working with kids and toughing it out in the theatre and film industry. I wanted to hear everyone's story, tell my own and connect with others in meaningful ways. I’ve always admired Audrey Hepburn—who walked away from Hollywood to devote her life to UNICEF—and I dreamed of following that same path.

Motherhood made that dream urgent and real.

As my son prepared for middle school, I saw firsthand how traditional environments often misunderstand kids with big energy, big feelings, and brilliant, fast-moving minds. I wanted something different for him—something rooted in compassion, creativity, and connection. And I knew other families needed the same.

That’s how TFT Clubhouse was born.

We are a family just like yours, searching for alternatives in schooling and carving out a space where children can learn without shame, explore without judgment, and grow at their own pace. We found a way to build that space—not just for our son, but for the entire community.

Today, TFT Clubhouse is a therapeutic learning center where children can thrive academically and emotionally, supported by neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed staff, and a team that leads with heart.

My mission is simple and deeply personal:

to create a place where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated—mind, body, and spirit.

Welcome to our community. We are honored to walk alongside you.
